Scrap Happy Girl

 I've not made any cards for about 8 weeks. I have a wedding and Easter card I'm going to try to make tomorrow. If all the stars align just right, I'll share it. It's more about the use of time than anything. Happy Easter to all of you! May Peace be with you and yours!

 Did you have craft time? Nope Did you watch a holiday movie? Yep Did you put up a tree? You bet! Did you go shopping in person? Nope (nothing I wanted or needed to get) Did you shop on-line? You bet! The first package came today. Hoping you survived the long weekend!

 Well, here we are at the end of 2022. What can I say about the past few years? It's been the weirdest experience of my life! How's that for great revelation? It will be half to do. The world has drastically changed, and so has social media. I must change with that tide or give up. Sigh. Well, cheer me on as I work to figure out how to post the few cards I turn out these days in my Lakeside Crafters group. If I can remember when I made the card, I'll try to post that along with supplies. Well, I'm looking forward to getting back to card-making. I hope you all are happy and healthy. And if you are still reading this blog, you are most probably in my long line of lifetime friendships. Near or far, I remember you and think of you often. Life is at a crazy fast speed; I'm just trying to keep up.  

 Welcome  to the year we all want to forget! I'm alive and well spending most of my time on FaceBook or in a book. Not much has changed with that. Clipie Man and I are still in love and enjoy spending time with one another. We have been renovating our home for much of the year but started taking a beak on that in late June. We try to take a cruise in the golf cart every evening if my asthma isn't being a pain. It's been a pain this year because of air quality and all the fires and now we have local burning of fields. I'm not sure why they do that.  The new cat Muffy is sweeter that ever she has doubled down on cuddling. Ragdoll's is where it's at y'all. I'm not as close with Muffy (as I was with Pumpkin) but then again I've only had her for a year. She dosen't talk to me like Pumpkin did. I miss that. I still miss my Mom like crazy. I've been in therapy since she passed sometimes it helps and sometimes not. With all of our parents gone now it...

Hey y'all! Not much going on lots of yard work and normal life stuff. I made a Church doll for thank you gifts, my niece is expecting a girl after three boys! So that was a very enjoyable trip home to celebrate the first girl in the family sins 1980 something.

Hey y'all its been a crazy time of year for the past three weeks having time to breathe has been scheduled in. Lol So things like the transmission going out for the FIFTH time in our Tahoe and taxes and doing things for Mom and Dad paper work etc.  Its so hard to believe they are gone. We now or hope to soon enter into spring and this brings me to great joy as now that we live where it gets cold enough to freeze the ground means I can have tulips! Tulips are my favorite flower and I have I mean hubby has planted manny at least 500 or so. I keep track of them in a a notebook somewhere in this house. They are up and almost all the new ones planted in late December survived the late planting and are up. Most. Hopefully the rest will show later in spring. So my Leaves my tulip leaves! Lol I know boring post to y'all but exciting for me! Not a Tulip I think its Pashmina New Plantings I'm guessing these are double tulips.

So today I needed my cricut cartridges I needed a music note. However in order to find that note I had to do some long over due sorting. I bought my last c.cartridge some time last year maybe the year before at Tuesday Morning before that was a Christmas splurge at JoAnns but I had never done anything but open the packages who am I kidding I probably have one or two or six unopened. Moving along with my story...  I could find nothing so I was forced to start over with sharpie in hand it took under two hours I lost track of time as well so maybe an hour? The funny part is I didn't count them or write the names down thats a task for another day! Before After

So I've been down with a huge cold so I'm not my chatty self. These are new additions (before the cold) so enjoy a bit of bead work. The pearls are a necklace and my first necklace ever so that took some time. I had originally bought the yellow beads to make Mom a bracelet but I made it to remember her by now.

Yup still alive and kicking but this morning instead of crafting I'm going back to bed. No news just a fair amount of snow with a huge side of bitter cold. I'm going to slip back in bed (aka the lazyboy) after my morning sneezing stops.

lets talk about LOVE..... love was bought at the Dollar Tree for One American Dollar... plus 11cents tax. love was painted white then with silver glitter then covered in Mod Podge and Acrylic Silver jewels all available at Walmart but I had these things for other projects like wand painting (the Harry Potter type) and the jewels were used with candles for a photo shoot and Mod Podge is used like mayo on craft items dontcha know. I hope you know love and let it decorate your world.
