my pages are still not done but I've been working on them all morning that would be since six my lovely little critter woke me up this morning, she has know ideal that I was ready to wring her little furry neck. For the first time in more than four years i now have a screen door clipie put one in the kitchen door last night and I'm so excited i can have the door open with a bit of a breeze to circulate the kitchen when it heats up. screen doors they are good things.

Well I'm looking forwardto tonight I'm so hoping Betty can come for a bit, I called her and Bill is doing somewhat better however he still has some infection. They are hoping he can come home Saturday. I know it's been rough for her lately she has no time for herself and is only working sleeping and visiting the hospital, last night was the first we had talked since last weekend. She sounded a bit tired and ready for Bill to be better.

I'm off to go work on your pages and get ready for some scrap…

hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My life has been in a constant state of go for quite a time now. I guess when it slows down I'll get board. I have had a great and busy morning this is why I'm late posting. I have had the best time talking with my cuzz Missy in Alaska this morning, I need to call her back more often so we can have more chats. My Uncle is doing good and hopefully going home today. My Mom got her OK for surgery April the 5th. I have not herd from Betty, if I don"t I will give her a call tonight, my guess is they probably have sent Bill home and she is up to her ears in happiness. But I'll call and get an update from her tonight. Officially I have one page done and I'm headed out to HL to get the second one into gear (yes it is always last minute with me) I also do my best work under a time crunch. So I will see you all tomorrow and If I hear from Betty I'll let y'all know.
STAY COOL TODAY A

lock out

my Wal mart trip started out innocently enough, you know grocery shopping and the like. My cart was full, my bill was paid. I walked out to the car, popped open the trunk, put the purchases in it and closed the lid. I walked around to the back side passenger door with my leftovers that would not fit in the trunk and don't ya know, I lost my keys in the wiles of white Wal mart bags in the trunk. Yep it was 85 my frozen foods were in the trunk, and Clipie man was out in bfe somewhere north of B.G along with my b-i-l. I was the lady sitting on the bench in front of Wal mart, with half of a grocery cart full of food (don't you always wonder about the people sitting on the bench at Wal mart?) I was inhaling cigar smoke (thank heavens I didn't loose my purse and inhaler) you know how well smoke mixes with asthma. I was trying not to chuck my cell phone into the pavement every time I called a number and nobody answered. Alas my dear Clipie (when he re-entered civilisation) his c…

bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Buzz this weekend was so busy that it buzzed like a bee as it went by.
Friday night of course was one of the best parts
Saturday I did a number of things I visited sbtr and saw barb and b. Pray for barb her son in law is not doing well he still needs a new liver. And as for b prayers for her hubby who as far as I know is still in the hospital. I promise to get an up date by tomorrow.
My so great and wonderful brother in law took me to SBV. And the new lay outs, they are extra nice! I'll try to post some later today (yes I took pictures). Things I liked- the new Heidi Grace, but it has no paper to match the embellishments, weird. Of course the frog paper, I bought the butterfly cause it was pretty in pink. And she had the best ever card stalk supply, she was stalked up on most every thing. (I did break down and buy one of the corner punches) it was nice and I really enjoyed going out there, I wish it just wasn't so far away.
Anywho after all that I got inspired and got one of my…

summer is here

Forget spring summer! It was 80 yesterday wasn't it? The forecast is for 80 again today that's what I love about this southern weather. I'm hoping to hold out until May before I turn the air on, I think I may want to revise that and settle for the last of April. We used the grill last night so that we would not heat up the house. It didn't get warm in the house until about seven, all that brick releasing it's heat I guess, so when we went to bed at eleven it was a bit stuffy in the house. Yes it is 6:02 and I am awake for the day thanks to my nightmares. I think I was hot and I'm not comfortable when I'm sweating and sleeping. Yesterday my ornamental cherry tree broke out in blooms while it is a small tree it's light pink buds a beautiful and I noticed my bulbs are up and blooming as well. We are the only hold outs when it comes to grass cutting, everyone else around us has dragged out there mower and chopped off the green. We have yet to tame our fiel…

yes I have an appointment today

My appointment today is with Commander HarmondRabb" a JAG officer. That's right he works for the Judge Advocate General (Uncle Sam's lawyers) OK I must give Clipie bought me the third season of JAG I'm gonna sit and watch some of it today. I cant wait, it was one of my favorite TV shows ever right behind my two all time favorites The Nanny and Mathew Star.
My mom is now out of the hospital and doing good, she will go to a local clinic every day and have her blood tested to make sure every thing is OK, she also will be giving herself shots in the stomach for the next few days (that I could not help her with even if I were there). So thanks for your prayers for her she still needs lots of them with her surgery coming up (still as of now April 5th)
Don't forget (I have to admit I did) Crop at B's Friday 5 ish. As of this moment I will be there (Clipie is working Saturday).
I didn't get my page finished but here is a card for you to look at

A rough weekend

I have had a rough weekend. On Friday night my Mom was put into the hospital she is still there this morning. At this point they are not sure what her problems are one of them is her heart. Its not beating properly another is she had water on it. My very wonderful sister has been keeping me updated as often as I need it, we are hoping to have a great many more answers this morning. Why am I not there? That also has been driving me nuts I still have a very bad cough that is being tuff to shake off. To top it off last night at dinner clipie looks at my prescription bottle and is reading it to me, I have been taking half the prescribed dosage since last Thursday. He said to me didn't you notice the extra pills? No I did not. It has been a not good weekend for me I hope y'all had better ones I'll try to post a page Ive been working on later. blessings to you all a

another week has went swoosh

Another week has went swoosh as it passed by me. Blink it's gone. I also came to a realization this morning I have been out of high school for 16 years (and have been married for 14 of them). Where on earth did 16 years go? When I was young my mom said that time would fly when I got older, but I had no ideal it would have a turbo jet pack attached. At lest I have acquired a few skills over the years.
1. Can cook at least enough so that when were done with dinner it tasted good enough for me to cook the next night.
2. I am computer/technology friendly meaning that I'm not one of those "I'm computer free" people.
3. I'm not as shy, I will actually speak to people in the grocery line (when I was young I would have rather pulled my teeth out).
4. I can care for a living thing with success - pumpkin
5. I now understand what A.S.A. P. means As Southern As Possible.
6. If I by furniture in a box, I can put it together.
7. And I can scrapbook!

Have a great weekend Blessing A

ever get lost?

Ever get lost? yep I did when I went out innocently enough for cough syrup. A trip into town turned into a 44 mile adventure. While I don't claim to be the best navigator in the world I do know that it's possible to make the small mistake and have it turn into a larger one. It seems you must be careful when turning out of Walgreen's, I'll remember that next time. I must say I didn't even realise I was lost until I received a second call saying are you OK? Where are you you, should have been here by now. While getting lost in not hard to do finding friends that will guide you in the right direction are hard to come by. Say that I didn't have y'all to check in on me, who knows how much longer I would have drove around until I decided I was lost. But thanks to you all I didn't end up spending the night in Smiths Grove! (do they even have a hotel?) A few side notes to this weekend I had a horrible cough (I'm still hacking away that's why I got up at…

Retreat starts today

So in just a few hours I will be leaving for retreat. I'm excited but yet a bit not, seeing that I'm doing a lot of coughing this morning. I do regret going when I haven't been home for the weekend since Feb 17th. I'm having Clipie guilt. I have been trying to get him to come visit me (this weekend), seeing as though I have a room by my self, but I don't know at this point he is reluctant, I am not. I'm looking forward to this weekend I need the mental break. This has been a rough week for me, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Clipie and I became GREAT Aunt and Uncle again, to our first GREAT niece Riley Christina (I'm not sure on the spelling of her name I'll get that later) was born Wednesday night. Mom and baby are great. Whoo another baby to scrap.

Ever feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland?

He runs around a saying I'm late, I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. I feels so behind this time in preparing for retreat. The only thing I'm experiencing is the whoosh of the two days that have been flown by. I gotta get glue sometime soon or I really wont be scrapping, you just gotta have glue to scrap. And I can't take a lotta stuff because I took way to much last time not this time live and learn ladies live and learn. And I still don't have all my photos printed out!
OK I'm done with my morning panic attack I'm moving on. I do have some questions so I'm going to send out an e-mail.

what time do you want to meet?
anything special I need to wear?
I'm planning on bringing my gobbler and scrap hangover t-shirts
does any body need me to bring my big ott light? or just the small one?
did you want me to biring any thing specifically?
and I'll brig hats for 5 total right?
when we get there you will need to pick a color teal, blue, purple, …

Well my cup of pepto tell me I have no more to write about. so
Congrats to B this morning and love and prayers for you!

I'm home! I miss my mom and dad after spending 11 days with them. But I'm not missing Clipie ; ) I'm going to devote the better part of today to my couch and a special project I'm working on, the project is top secret so I cant tell y'all about it (today any way). So seeing that retreat is this weekend There really is no need to put away my suitcase I'll just re-pack it but that can wait until tomorrow after knitting class. Don't forget tomorrow B becomes a grandma again so congratulations to her and Christina and family. We love you and send you well wishes and prayers. and just

days until retreat!

in the snow

check out the huge flakes, ps I made the hat and scarf!

: (

Very sadly I will not get to see my clipie man until Sunday. Last night my sisters basement flooded and my b-i-l had to come up this morning. And you know what bites the very most? I did beat his high score on royal tiles and he wont even get to see it. My sisters sunk pump went out because her electric went out in the middle of a torrential down pour. Many roads were flooded and closed (I had to cross a road that had some water over it. Don't freak my dad was in his car behind me (I was driving a big huge Tahoe) and I could see the lines on the road when I crossed and I remember the saying "turn around don't drown" or what ever it is). So at 10:30 last night I made a wally run and to make a very long story short at 3 am I got into bed. My sister is beyond exhausted and and so is the rest of her family. Mom's doc appointment was OK and I'm looking forward to a night of rest. Tomorrow we are going to see a play my nice (Alicia) helped build the set for, The…

Clipie man 2 the res Q

I get to see Clipie MAN hopefully tomorrow night. Just 24 hrs I miss him soooooooooooooooooooo much. Next weekend (at the retreat) it may be a bit rough for me so I promise to come equipped with tissues. I seem to be riding this roller coaster called life lately. My mom is doing well she still is not back to her normal self she get tired out easily. I hope i do as well as she does at the age of 75. Tomorrow is check up day at the doc we are expecting all to go well. I just want to thank all of you for putting up with me this week I've been a bit out of sorts.

A little funny
When my Dad came up to see my mom he gave her a kiss (major trauma for me ladies)I haven't seen them kiss for a while like about 2 years or so (ewwwwwww). And i just had to get out of the room I wandered out to the hall and moms nurse was in the hall I said to her you may need to call a crash cart for me my mom and dad just kissed.
