AND.......

Happy Birthday Rhonda I'm just being honest when I say if I don't do it now I'll forget.

hi

I have survived the holidays and it's been a good Christmas. The New Year is sneaking up on all of us. I sincerely hope that this new year is filled with hope and is better for us all than this past one. I wish that for all of you, a smooth road down life's path for the next 12 months and beyond that. If your traveling stay safe, if your at home stay warm and remember I love y'all and miss you. New Yer Blessings to You and Yours Angie

Merry

Merry Christmas to all my friends and blog readers. Much love Angie

ITs 3

Its 3 its three degrees on my back porch. I don't mind three as long as I'm inside nice and warm, while the Christmas tree blinks and the cat is curled upon my feet. But I want compensation if it's going to be three I want snow, snow men, sledding , hot coca, kids offering to shovel the drive that sorta thing. #3 degrees without compensation its not fun. I hope you all are nice and warm this morning, snuggled down in robes and pj's with cute prints (or not). Stay warm! A

Santa

Well I think Mrs Clause is laundering Santa's suit about now. As for my self I'm wrapping gifts, starting to bake and such. Yes I'm swallowed up in all those small details that seem to make Christmas, Christmas. I hope you all are wallowing in Christmas joy, I hope your knee deep in wrapping paper and bows. I hope your baking and humming Christmas carols while you you wrap up last minute details. And most of all I wish you a Merry Christmas, I hope your New Year is merry and bright. I'll keep you all in my prayers throughout the year. Much Love Angie

One week

One week from today is Christmas eve. Man That time has simply flown by from Thanksgiving to now it feels like it was last weekend. I have very few to buy for this year seeing that the budget will be tight. Just a few things and a stuffed reindeer for Clipie will finish things up. I'll explain about the toy later when time is is not like an empty bottle. I hope to be done by the end of the week so I wont spend much time shopping on the most crazy Saturday this year. I really, really, really, had a great time this weekend, it was very fun very. I needed the break and have y'all to thank for it. And with that I'd like to thank everyone for the extra goodies and gifts. The cookies were fabulous (now gone after my elf dived into them)I must say we are all very good cooks. The pages are spectacular! I'm not sure what to store them in but its not going to fit in our old album, I may need want a new album. Do y'all think we might do this again? Give me some ideals on wh

13 days until Christmas I'm not ready

I'm half awake while I type so don't expect much..... Did you know it's 13 days till Christmas? Yipes I'm just a bit taken back I'm not done and not ready for that. If I wanted to get technical I'ts really only 12 days because we usually celebrate on Christmas Eve. Ugh I'm not going to run out and shop at this point, I'm not only not in the mood but not ready to be around everyone germs just yet. This means that projects are running behind and out of control. I had intended to make a scarf for everyone in my family this year but I cant do that unless I knit one scarf a day at this point. Now that's not impossible just an enormous amount of knitting I guess it's decision time or time to schedule in at least 3 hrs of knitting a day. Don't get me wrong I love to knit but 3 hrs every day until Christmas that is hard for anyone to take no matter how much you love your craft. Speaking of being around people, for this weekend I was wondering does t

Aren't they adorable? Who could resist such curtness ? I lost my heart to them I've caught the guck so I'm back, if all goes according to plan I'll be better by Friday and able to enjoy the festivities. rock and roll

OK all the next few days are going to be very slow on the blog. It's that time of year is it not? We are trying to put up Christmas decorations and the like. I also plan to be on a recon mission entitled "pictures of the twins" so hopefully I'll soon have a bunch of baby pictures to show off. Other than that I have two questions 1. I'm curious about family traditions, Do any of you have Christening gowns that are passed down in the family? Have any of you ever made a Christening gown? 2. Secondly what type of veggie dish? healthy? lathered in butter or sugar? cooked? one veggie or assorted? suggestions.....(please just not green bean casserole) sweet potato casserole with strudel topping? Have a good rest of the week and weekend blessings and prayers to all Angie

So......

Image
So how was every one's Thanksgiving? busy time here we are putting up the tree, and ITS"S SNOWING!!!!!! I'm working on my projects the 8x8 is coming along as well as the tags. I hope they don't need to match. Maybe I'll give y'all a sneak peak of what is to come (above)...... It's a nervous week as we wait for more news about hubby's work. I'm doing everything and anything to keep my mind off of what it's on. So be prepared for many weird and strange posts as I take my frustrations out in the form of strange and unusual chatter.

Bonnie

I really hate to share depressing news on a holiday but this is very important. If y'all have not read Chelle's blog please go do so http://mylifeasimtellingit.blogspot.com/ Bonnie Wilcome has had a heart attack and is recovering. Nobody in the world is like Bonnie. I think we all share a big warm fuzzy spot in our hearts for her. God bless you Bonnie, I wish you a speedy recovery and the very best wishes. For those of you that don't know her she is the owner of a scrapbook store (Scrapbook Village)in Glasgow Ky.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

All in a Word By Aileen Fisher T for time to be together, turkey, talk, and tangy weather. H for harvest stored away, home, and hearth, and holiday. on the light side

Ok Feb date is out. Let me know if your in town New Years....I'll be here a bit of fun.... KIDS IN CHURCH 3-year-old Reese :'Our Father, Who does art in heaven,Harold is His name.Amen.' A little boy was overheard praying:'Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it. I'm having a real good time like I am.' After the christening of his baby brother in church, Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car. His father asked him three times what was wrong. Finally, the boy replied,'That preacher said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home, and I wanted to stay with you guys.' One particular four-year-old prayed,'And forgive us our trash baskets as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets.' A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they were on the way to church service,'And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?' One bright little girl replied,'Because people are sleeping.'

Dates

OK As of now the dates I have available are: January 1st {New Years Day- Thursday} all day regardless of size of group. This is what I'll be doing all day so y'all might as well come over if your free. I thought Barb had mentioned something around the 10 th. I can't do the the ninth because it's our anniversary so It would probably be best if it was held elsewhere. January 30th and 31st is retreat February 20 and 21st ? So lets discuss having a crop at my home on February 20 th and 21st (Friday& Saturday) and News years day. I'd like to take responsibility where it's due and at the moment this is the way I know how. If Betty and Barb would like I'd love to commit to doing summer, I'm not sure what will happen between now and then due to Rod and his work,{ in other words I don't want to make a promise that I cant keep} but as summer draws near I'd like to discuss it . I'd love it if Barb could do the card class {in Feb} at my place as well

back to the cartridge review....... . HEA (abbreviated) is a very complex cartridge for one reason only; layering Some of the images like Cinderella, Snow White will take several attempts to get the image just so. . Ill freely admit that this is a useful cartridge if your a princess lover Cinderella, Sleeping beauty, Snow White and Mulan along with a few sidekicks. . I hate to admit it but I've never use the cartridge for anything, AT ALL. Y'all know I love art projects but I've just not had the ump to tackle it. .It would be hard to mass produce anything for an invitation .Its a cute cart but I'd like to see less detail . .My advice borrow it from a friend don't buy it unless you have a small child in love with one of the charters.

mish mash

Custom crops has a sale until midnight tonight most cricut cartridges are $29.99 except for the very new. Personally I'm holding out until black Friday hoping that Creative express will once again wow the public with 4 for $100. link to CC http://www.customcrops.com/index.php?cPath=22_34 Did anyone watch the CMA's last night? I must say I love me some Brad Paisley. It was good but not as good a Carries Underwood's yellow dress last year that has burned an image of pretty in my mind. The good news is I have finally shed all the extra weight I picked up back in early spring making my total weight loss around 26 pounds. I'm wondering just what will fit in my winter wardrobe. I pack it up every year to make room for our six months of summer. I celebrated yesterday by making my hair a dark Auburn, what can I say other than I needed a change and to focus on the positive . I'm loving the cool weather it's great for knitting and I cant remember ever experiencing fall li

this weekend

Ok busy busy busy. I have family coming for a visit this weekend so I'm trying to clean the house and "stuff" like that. I also am in the search for a digital tuner for my scrapbook room and kitchen. Wal mart is out and so is the warehouse so I'm up a creek with out a tuner. Despite all the busy work I want to wish our friends who are attending retreat a happy time, be good, and shake your antennas for me! That being said I'll be scraping style here with Betty so if your not at retreat get your scrap happy self over to Betty's this weekend. Everyone have a good one, and drive careful and most of all ENJOY!

PLease JUST GO VOTE!

ELECTION DAY FEARS

So do any of you have Election day fears? Other than the obvious of your candidate not getting picked I fear the lines. My first Presidential election down south was not and experience I care to repeat. It took well over 4 hours and 3 of it was in the rain. Since my polling place has changed and I have bought a brand new umbrella (black) and I have checked the weather forecast (76 and clear)I'm crossing my fingers it wont be painfull . I plan to go in the morning and before lunch and I'm hoping I wont miss my knitting class, ww I can miss, but interfere with my knitting and I'm one angry chick. I hope to go to CB tomorrow afternoon and I 'm thinking we may have dinner after ( clipie will be with me) so if any of y'all would like to eat together I'd like that. Betty are you going to be there? I'd like to know so I can bring you a check. Also thanks for all the congratulations. The baby's are doing good they are still at the hospital and my niece i

I know your going to ask

Did any of y'all see snow last night? OK I know y'all have probably seen the news. Yes he will have layoff (again)for one week. They are calling a few they laid off back (he found out yesterday)! Seems that they are short handed and had a few more people retire than expected. Clipie will have a larger cushion! Yeah! He will be eligible for a 10 year retirement at the end of December giving us an out if needed. blessings a

Christmas solutions review

Image
Over the next few Weeks I intend to "review" the better part of my cartridges. I hope you enjoy it. 1.The first thing that is odd about the Christmas cartridge is (as Rhonda said at the crop) it has no info booklet. And that does make it difficult if you have glasses or need them. I suggest bookmarking the info page on the cricut library site. (hint you can enlarge screen on site look at the top menu bar) LINK http://www.cricut.com/res/handbooks/Christmas%20SP_GER.pdf 2.The second is more peculiar that odd. When you have inserted the cartridge and start the actually cutting process when it's done it cuts the image again making it a double cut. 3.The next is intricate cuts. I could not get textured (dcwv) paper to cut well. No I did not check my blade because it's not that old and yes i did make pressure and other adjustments to the blade its self. It ended up cutting best on smooth texture paper (American Crafts) and all the examples shown are cut on that paper. 4.It

Final count down.

OK so here y'all lets get down to business first thing, well I guess we could say second thing I slept in for the first time in a while and it felt good (I was up late last night). { taken from Betty's blog} Total cost per night per cabin is $93.65 this does include tax. Total amount billed to my CC $187.30,for the first night reservation. Nine of us are committed so that breaks down to $20.81 per person per night.........I emailed Michelle H my address and for everyone else I'll meet up with you some time next week, or the week after, etc.Just a suggestion - but how about we work out the other logistics (food, etc) at a later time.We can discuss at Card Class or in Dec. at our Christmas crop. GIRLS I'M SO EXCITED I can't wait!

The Retreat Road (another update)

84.95 a cabin = 169.90 (for two cabins 1 night) + taxes (10%= 16.99) + 186.89 divided by 8 = $23.37 (if you divide that by nine its $20.78 ) for the first night (and I'm taking it for granted that Betty wont need the other money until the event it's self) . So with 8 the total cost for lodging would be $ 46.74 plus food (for 9 it would be $ 41. 56 + food) and you'd be able to stretch that out, half now, half later. I hope I've helped more than hurt with info. We have nine responses Betty will need to know who is who. I don't see why all of us could not go we could bring a blow up bed or the like. I'm taking it for granted that y'all know we will be double bunking in beds (at least that's the way I understand it and if not I need clarification , if I'm wrong) OK so if you haven't please respond to Betty soon as you are able. She will let me know when the time is right to move forward and start making plans about food and such. I'll p

RETREAT January?Updates in Orange

Updates in Orange OK Scrappers a new adventure is on the horizon. In all our scrap happy ness we were discussing a retreat of our own. Where: Barren River When: January:Friday the 30 th , Saturday 31, and Sunday February 1st! Cost: 84. 95 a night (per cabin) more later. How long? Friday morning till Sunday checkout 11 am (Super Bowl Sunday) Who? Well so far, Chelle , dw , dh , Betty, Me, WE Really need one more person but would love to have three more. 4 people to a cabin, 2 cabins. Food: We would probably need more input on this but I think it was agreed that we would cook some and go out some. Maybe make a brunch at the cabin and out to eat for dinner ( I personally don't want to spend the weekend cooking) or very simple meals like crockpot or a pan of frozen Lasagna but simple not lots of food prep. OK so I've posted on the side bar for y'all to chime in ! Betty will need the money soon because to make the room reservation she needs to pay for one night in each cab

normal

So at the moment things are back to normal (as of Monday). We are back to our usual weekly groove. Clipie's dad is doing OK he is home and needs to exercise much more but he is doing better. Clipe spent a few nights with his parents, while I stayed with them the first night and went back to Moms all the other nights. No rest at all the first night so around 5 am I headed to my mom's for some real rest and discovered I would need to do that each night if I wanted any sleep. It was the first time Clipie had spent that much time with his parents since we married 16 years ago. Visiting did have some huge advantages, I did get to hold Alia and Leo (twins) and Talon all of them helped me rack up Great Aunt Angie status. Clippie had his baby freak on as well getting to hold and cuddle all of them. It's not every day people will had over a baby to a man who is 6'2, 48 and has no baby experience what so ever. The baby's were definitely the highlight of the stay. We also had

Oh Martha! Your products have landed at BIG LOTS!

Oh Martha! Your products have landed at BIG LOTS! With all the horrible financial news and Presidential stuff going on I've decided not to bring it up in my post which takes out most current evens like wall mart shopping going up to sky high prices. I have forgot to say that I had a chance to get some extra $1 stamps while back up north. I have yet to go through them cause I've been swamped with lots of other stuff going on but next time I crop (and that's looking like the 17 & 18 th ) I'll bring them. I also wanted to say a few Martha Stewart things have landed at Big Lots. Can you say Bwhahahahahaaha Martha, we told you so! It was summer themed items like Boats and Popsicles, glitter alphas and two different Christmas card kits with lot of glitter included. In other news My father in law Joe had total knee replacement yesterday so you can figure out what I'm going to do in the next day or two. I'm happy Clipie will be able to help his Mom and Dad for a f

C.A.T.S. System

The C.A.T.S. System Is a complex system of alertness. It combines several natural or "organic" ways of communication. Just some of the scientific measuring devices used in this sensitive operation are, hair, cold, whiskers, a poking device, and a God given intuition. What I'm referring to is my cat Pumpkin. Back in May when we had an earthquake she was acting funny (a few days before) then on the day o,f she was as normal as sweet tea. This morning she woke me up about 5:30 and insisted on rubbing not only my arm with her wet nose but my face and any other part of my body that was sticking out of the warm covers I was under. When that did not work she tried walking all over me and asking for a treat and that is unusual. After "we" got up she would not eat her regular morning treat of Fancy Feast and to be truthful I've often wondered who does she love the most. And add to that the strange behavior of not wanting to come in the scrap room and sit beside me w

In a fall state of mind

After my trip back home It's put me in a fall mood. Leaves are starting to change, well whats left of the leaves after IKE and drought. I'm pretty sure Mom had a very dry summer and usually that amounts up to a wet winter. This cool air the past few days is not only greatly appreciated but I makes me long for that cool air of fall. i do belive this is the most fall like it's ever been since I've lived here. It makes me want to have a home in the country so I could sit and watch the color on the trees change. Oh hum I guess I'll settle for my fire bush changing and a walk in the park, actually the walk is better than sitting on my rear all the time. It seems quiet of late but I'm going to chalk it up to some form of loneliness, it's been for ever since I've cropped with y'all. I called Betty and I thought the crop was this weekend but it's next and next week. Rod will be laid off (for one week only) next week and we were going to visit his Dad wh

Terri

I posted this a while back it was not long after I had lost my Aunt Jane for me the poem just some how helps me remember the good times not the bad. This is for Terri and her Mother . The tide goes out, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand; The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land; The music stops, but yet it echoes on in sweet refrains; For every joy that passes something beautiful remains. Terri I hope you can hold on the the beautiful moments and I hope they will help bring you through this time. I"m sending you my thoughts and prayer's . May God be with you. At the moment I cant remember the author but I'll look it up and post that soon. I"m having a baby shower for my Niece this weekend so I'll get back with y'all when things settle down. Love y'all and take care blessings Angie

OK so the top has changed like I told you. I just could not get the small feet and rings to lay down flat enough to ship in a standard envelope. The package left here a bit ago they will take it over to Mom's and you can pick it up. The small card on the top is for at label for the family. I hope you and Beth like them since I mad all the changes.

Ok here it is the only thing that will be different is the lettering and I'm going to take the rings off the feet because of mailing. It's not the best example but very close. The purple /green/ stuff behind the card is not part of it.

Andy

The Andy Griffith show is all about MayBerry and young Opie (spelling??) and Aunt Bee, I've never liked it but a few days ago it gave me something to think about. I was in the dentists office for a chipped tooth this week when the tec handed me a remote control. She said "Watch what ever you want" so the channel flipper that I am sat and continually scanned all the channels. I came across the Andy Griffith show, when I first moved to my new home 5 years ago it seemed like that's all that was on besides soaps. I have loathed it ,I thought it was a simpletons show that only really old people and very naive people watched. I had always thought the show lacked real life ness ( I know not a word but in my world it is). Maybe it was because I moved from a city that held more than a million people, maybe I was a bit of a cynic thinking this did not ever exist.I don't know but what made me stop and stare at the tv show was what I longed for. My "new" slow p

moving right along

well things are going well. Mom bought carpet (this morning) and it will be installed this next week. I hope I'll eventually work my way back home some then too. We have been working hard everyday and their has been no time for play or fun stuff except the occasional stolen moment in the evening and such. Pumpkin continues not to be friendly with B.B. so the separate quarters continue. She was overjoyed yesterday when I had a headache and took a nap with her mid day. Don't all cats love naps? Well I'm off to do more chores and stuff like it. Missing you all. Blessings a

getting ready to go

Image
I've been running around town the past few days, helping Clipie get new glasses, I helped Mom buy new phone (that i need to take to her), had to go down town to file some paper work, and in general just more stuff. I'm so thankful that its not as hot as it was I'm enjoying the cool down a great deal and it's helping me not sweat through three outfits a day (sometimes I wish I was one of those girls that just glisten). Tonight I cleaned off my desks and yesterday I packed my scrapbook bag. So I'm in gear to go, all I need to do is to wash clothing and pack and I'll be ready to go visit Mom for a while. I'm going to miss my Clipe so much, yet I'm going to enjoy being with Mom and Dad. I'm hoping as fall drawls near I'm going to get back to scrapbooking more than what I am now. I have a stack of thank you card to write and 2 separate party invitations to make, and a number a knitting projects in the works. oh the photo I had seen this in a yard

cropping

Thank you D.W. for a great crop It was so nice of you to put up with all of our scraps. I'm off for a very busy day today and a to do list that is so long I know it all wont get done but I'm gonna try.
Thanks for asking about moms' clothing she loved all of them. Today has been an interesting one like the kind that is long and drawn out and does not want to end. I'm tired an cranky and hot so there you go another reason not to behave myself. I must shout out a BIG Thank you to Debbie H who picked up my copic markers for me and saved me a trip. I also forgot to thank Betty for the past crop and Debbie w. for the upcoming one. As it sits today If I come it will be Saturday afternoon and maybe I'll pop in with crazy hats for us to parade around in late Friday night so we can make the neighbors that sniffing scrapbook glue is more fun than we let on : )

Well if your wondering

Well if your wondering why I had a fashion show on the blog it was for my mother. I had done some shopping for her and that was the result. In the photo of me below I look EXACTLY like my mother at the same age. It's a first not many times do I or her notice how much I look liker her. A few of my facial features are different but all in all I'm a genetic reproduction. We've had a long weekend here Clipie's taken a vacation day so he relaxing in lazy z boy at this very moment taking in birthday wishes from one of his brothers. And today Clipie is turning a year older. We started it off right by going to C.B. for breakfast. Here in a bit it'll be cake time so I'd better get going. DW I still don't have an answer for you this weekend maybe. blessings a

other than the heat

Other than feeling like I'm going to melt, not much is going on right now. I ventured out of the house yesterday to go to knitting class and Logans. My inhaler is still getting a workout, I'm still sweating through my clothing when I go to do anything, and I'm hoping that this is normal in the heat. Clipe is even dripping with sweat when he comes home, yesterday he had lost all this color he was so hot, it worried me a bit. Well I've gotta go water my Flowers before they shrivel up and die or wilt.

well at least I'm consistent

well at least I'm consistent for forgetting birthdays....... A big late Happy birthday to Michelle H well as we begin the 5 season I'm thinking I'm ready for a taste of fall. What is the 5th season you ask? Well Clipe came up with that one, down south we have 5 seasons Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer and Hell. the last season starts in late July and lasts however long it lasts (usually September). All jokes aside if the humidity would just go away it would be fine, in fact I prefer the hot dry heat especially for swimming and if I'm going to swim I want it 88 or more but seeing that i dot have a pool it's not a issue. So stay cool I'll try to post more this. blessings a

sorry

Well I'm so sorry I totally forgot about Betty's birthday (some friend uh?) So a Big ole Happy Birthday ! from me to you Does anyone know what M.H. is up to how are you girl?

our song

Well last night in a conservative effort I wanted to go out to eat but not spend 60 at Red lobster so we called in a carry out meal. 1 meal, two pounds of snow crab, baked potato, salad, and of course the ever wonderful biscuit they serve, it was a grand total of 27 bucks. Not bad we were full and got what we wanted at the same time. It was also a little romantic I lit drippy candles but the effort failed when it was to dark to eat ahhhh the hazards of getting older, you need 20 candles lit instead of four. Tonight and tomorrow is Betty's crop, I'm gonna pop in tonight and hopefully be able to crop a small amount in the morning . We have family in so I need to work around that (a cousin for Louisville). blessings a

Martha has landed

well I'm gonna get scrappy with it today. Last night I was at the cbl walmart and I found a strange addition to the scrapbooking section. Martha just play the background jaws music. Stamps, papers, punches, glitter, markers, and such. Far a person who does not like scrapbookers why keep pushing product? They also had cricut mat in both big and small and well as a few cartridges and well as the new vinyl sheets. And the last surprise was K& Company I had no ideal that they were going to bring big names to the walie world side of life. I'm just wondering how it's going to go over in this economy. I have not purchased many supplies of late just the stamps and a roll of brown vinyl last night. what have you all been doing scrap wise?

rested

Well after a day on the couch, a day of ww and knitting I'm all rested up after two weeks of solid hard work. My mother is home, very tired but making a come back. My sister has been mostly taking care of her and seeing to her needs. So for the moment things have slowed down. We visited with family, had dinner alone (once), visited with some neighbors (hey Delta I had a great time) went to the dentist, but did not go to any scrapbooking stores just Mike's and I did get some more $1.00 stamps to add to my collection. We also had a garage sale, and Rod hung new outdoor lights, garage doors, installed a new phone and a few other odds and ends. A Realtor came over and I think it went well. All we have left to do is rent a storage space, put up mini blinds, de clutter, clean the house and keep it clean, and stick the sign in the yard. I will be going back home for a week to do most of these things. When ? I have no ideal soon that's for sure. Pumpkin and I are off to go have br

sights and sounds of home

Image
This morning I went for a walk down town, taking in the sights and sounds of my home town. I parked at the library where I spent countless hours as a child and as and adult exploring the many wonders a library has to offer. I walked down Park to Broadway and took pictures of the old pharmacy, ice cream parlor, and the little theater. I heard the church bells chime on the hour (I greatly miss hearing them ring all the time), I listened to the traffic gently roll by, I heard the sweep of a straw broom as a waitress sweep a patio getting it ready for the lunch rush. I was alone and i enjoyed it immensely, it gave me time to think, time to remember all those childhood memories and relive them for a moment or two. Do I miss home? sure I do Do I long to go back ? at times Do I intend to go back and live there one day? no I'm happy where I am I do enjoy a good visit, that's basically what I've been doing this past weekend. Visiting with all the neighbors during the garage sale, Cl

The Peeking Pumpkin So as the saga continues peeking Pumpkin has made more progress as of this morning. She actually stayed out of her room for more than 5 min. Napoleon sill continues the campaign against The Great Pumpkin. Last night the dictator thought that is was necessary to paw at our bedroom door for 20 min. I'm sure the dictator thought that this would instill new type of terror in the fluffy one, when in reality all it did was piss off the humans. Who are a much larger adversary I might add. This morning I find myself worrying that Pumpkin will turn Farrel. I also find myself dreading cleaning the basement as well. I went to the dentist yesterday, no it was not fun, I had work done and I had gas and little pink pills that did not calm me so much. But (thankfully) it's over and done with for now. I'm off to go clean........ blessings a
Image
As seen here Pumpkin is looking for guidance from a higher power. She has no ideal how to bond with dictator. Yesterday Pumpkin came out of her room for the first time this week. We took control of the hostile situation by separating the dictator and the Pumpkin. Ll'e Nat was quarantined to half the house while the scared kitty was allowed to roam the living room and bedrooms. The same routine is happening this morning as we speak Pumpkin has slithered into my mothers bedroom for some bog time with all of us.

Napoleon Bonaparte xxiiv

Image
The Pumpkin from the south Napoleon he was the kinda guy you remember from the history books. Napoleon did it "his way" and only his way no debating about it he was a stand alone man. IT seems as though we have a "little Napoleon" situation here at Chez Momola and Da. BB (short for Black Berry) does not take lightly to the invasion (from the south) of the Pumpkin. In fact ll'e Nat wants nothing to do with the great fur from the south. Now I ask you this why does a two pound cat think it can tell and eighteen pound one what to do? I have not ideal why BB thinks that Pumpkin will not harm her. Pumpkin has never participated in a cat fight so she lacks experience, however I think her numbers are in her favor. BB on the other hand has the "go get'm" attitude meaning yesterday when she saw Pumpkin for the first time she tried to climb the glass sliding door to get to her. Yes my friends I am involved in a real live cat fight. I will post a casualty report

It's once again Friday

Well I've actually had a day this week to do something for myself. Yesterday I did a very small amount of shopping for clothing yesterday. Some of my summer tops just don't fit anymore. I had to buy a strapless bra and well lets just say It was 2 sizes smaller all the way round. I thought I was going to scream when I discovered I went down both in shirt size (for the second time) and bra size. As for the rear well it's a a bit ......behind smaller yes but not a size (yet). I'm not proportioned well. Oh in my shopping adventures I went to Beverly hills yesterday and they had those purses that Chellie is so nuts for, they were a bit pricey on clothes I thought. Ps the Vera's were all 13 and up. (I have been trying to stay away from HL although I would love to have the acrylic sheets) Mr Clipie gave blood yesterday and was feeling a bit woozy after so it's been all about him for the past 24. He is fine he had not ate or drank and he just need some rest and a go

well yes it has been a long time

Image
BEFORE AFTER I did clean the house as well, in all honesty it's the first time I've cleaned (really cleaned from top to bottom) since you all were over around Christmas. honesty is sometimes brutal is it not? So I've been way relaxed on the blog as of late..... what can I say a big dose of lazy has left the the blog in a neglected state. On Friday and Saturday Betty had a crop, I forgot to post about it. So my theme of being a slacker continues.... I was at the crop Friday and it was nice (As usual)and it was great to see everyone as well. I love the crops I'm so thankful that Betty has them. Clipe got me a new phone this week I've been learning how to work it.... and figure out when it rings. It's in no way as cool or sophisticated as chelle's I phone, I can figure out how to use the basic functions so that's good and it's Pink. It has a camera, I've never had a camera phone so this is all very new and strange. Man I'm old new cell phone, n

I'll show you mine... if you will show me yours....

Tuesdays post on Monday.... Well deb h had e-mail me a pic of some recent organizing she had done, I was so impressed (also greatly embarrassed) because she did a good job. I do truly admire her for having a cleaning streak my room/home is a mess most of the time. To say my scrap area is not in the least bit clean looking (at this time) would be an understatement. So by posting pictures of my room I was thinking I will need to immediately clean the room after, cause I can't just put my junked up room on the blog and then not clean it... so consider this my before pics and in a day or two I'll share the after. Blessings a

the weekend update

Image
Well my weekend was slow and relaxing. Today time has slipped away as I'm finishing cleaning the back bedroom (I dint get to cleaning on Friday as i had wished). Other than the same old things nothing is interesting of late it's just plain ole life. I found these two in my hedges, aren't they cute? Mama bird was very mad that I was poking my camera so close to the nest.

Please

Someone tell me it's not Friday already....ugh well as for the week I've spent it part of it down town, a day cleaning the house (again today) and a day with Harmond Rab. Y'all remember him right, the JAG officer who is desperately in love with officer Mac or McKenzie. Not much going on as of late and scrapbooking well that's just on the back burner till the first of the week. Have a great weekend! a

Its far from Monday morning, baby buds

Image
I know it's far from Monday morning but it's still Monday at this point. The past few weeks have been very busy for me. And this weekend was no exception I had a baby shower for Clipie's niece Raven. Raven is a beautiful strong intelligent young woman. She is a nurse and works in an icu step down unit, she is also a wife and now mother. Her husband Johnathan is currently at sea so he has not seen or held their beautiful baby boy named Talon Zander, who was born in late May. He is a very good baby, in fact Talon let me hold him for quite a bit on Saturday and on Sunday too. Sunday he was in good spirits at the baby shower. The baby shower went well and we had no problems except a butt ugly cake. I typically always order my cakes from Sam's club because they always do a great job. Not this time, it looked like a CRAZED clown made it! When I went to pick it up they had lost my order! They offered to make a new one, I said make it easy, make it JUST LIKE THE EXAMPLE IN THE

Don't be surprised if I do not get a chance to update the blog till Monday or Tuesday . I've got a few busy days coming up. Man this week has had wings it's going by so fast. I am currently knee deep in my room so I'm cleaning today. I'm tired of once again wadding through the mess to get to the computer. So the cleaning girl I am today. Don't forget Tomorrow is a crop night. I have had no scrapbook time of late so this will be very welcome for me.

welcome back to the real world

I have had a good weekend, I wish it was not over. Friday we spent the day running around town and grocery shopping. Saturday we spent half the day here and we also went to the lake walked out to the beach, then we went to have some good bbq, and a brief sbv visit. Sunday was Sunday we went to church and grilled out and had dinner on the patio and had some rather bad tasting Champagne. Today was spent pretty much lazing here and there in between meals.I'm counting every second until July vacation...... blessings a

ok I know I've been on the Qt but I just have been busy and uninteresting of late. Here is (future) l/o . It's fancy pants stamps with versa magic inc. This is the first time I have ever used my Fiscars huge stamp block, so I'm thinking its a good thing that I have used it once. Like all scrapbook things, things come and go I think I'm just about tired of my fibers (all but the ribbon) so I'll be bringing lots of my fibers to get rid of at the next crop. June 23 the day will celebrate the color pink and I promise to provide you with a perfectly pink layout. http://holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/june.htm Blessings A

I'm searching for my wedding photos. ugh I took them out of the album cause it was not acid free and put them up. Well I put them up good. I have decided it's time to scrap those suckers but i need to find them first.

hello

I know I've been a slacker blogger of late so.......sorry about that lots going on here We had the weekend alone so all I did was enjoy it we also have been working on our patio and that has just taken time. As of this moment (while writing this) I have taken a break to listen to the news about the earthquake and tornado's. How very sad, how very scary, and how much it makes me think I'm glad I believe in Jesus Christ. My mom called saying she is sure this is end times, I don't know but I do feel like I've have a lot of living to do, but I'll go on record and say I'm ready should something happen. I hope all of you are ready too. I want to scrapbook in heaven we can have gold embellishments. Moving on from the sermon (and that's just cause I love y'all fyi ) I have not been scrapping a lot so not much to show you. Betty announced crop dates and here they are: May 30/31 June 20/21 July 25/26 As usual these will be listed on the side bar for you all t
