a Little sunshine

In all this sadness its very hard to find the joy of Christmas.
Some sunshine for you!

Doctor Day

Well today I head back to the ex ray machine and get to see how things are healing up.
So. Much. Fun.

Recipe pages made for gifts for my scrapper girl friends.
Page ONE is Peanuts stickers and MM sticky trees.
Page TWO is all cricut but stars and bats (stickers)
Page THREE is all cricut.
The tabs that hold the recipes are a-g-e-s old, I have no ideal who made them.

Are you mental?

This originally started out as a card front. But ended up being a tree ornament, or a page embellishment, for my Scrappa deltas back home. If your wondering its going to hang on my tree.

Generic food thingies
Cup cake sleeve from M's
A Whale of a punch circle punches and the center a smaller cup cake sleeve.

Flowers of Christmas

Did you know here in Texas that rose bushes are blooming like crazy?
So when/if we have a home here ( in Texas) I'll plant some rose bushes.

Roses for Christmas is an old book title by Betty Neeles an author favorite of mine. Hard to find book too.

The turkey day leftovers

I hope your Turkey day was tasty and surrounded by friends and family!
Not much going on. I've started my Christmas shopping and I'm about mid way.
I was very sad to hear that y'all wont be cropping due to trolls and greed. My mind can only begin to imagine that story. If The Scrappa Deltas are up to it maybe we will have one last bash at my place in January?

Cards for all! Enjoy!

This was made for a card contest and is going to go into my Plum/ Janet Evanovich scrap album.
Helen Plum enjoys Peace.

Hand Made

Made for a very special friends back in late August

This was a July card.  We (my family) celebrate summer birthdays in my family in July and this was one of the many cards made.
Dear air conditioning, I understand we all need to be maintained at some point in our life. Your continued problems are not appreciated. I hope you will soon feel maintained and not want to spend any more quality time with me or Rod. I'm mad because Saturday we spent more time than I wanted to on fixing you! I could have been scrapbooking! pleas dont make the next round expensive or difficult. Sigh
Belle Meade Plantation yes I enjoyed it
Sun freckles are abundant after the garage sale. I've had my first sun kiss of the season and no it wasn't a good kiss I'm going to be flakie of a flake or both! Sorry no picks today because I'm on the iPad and well it and blogger don't agree on posting pics. In other news.. I have no news isn't that wonderful! No I wish I were home no apartment life just normal every day stuff. Speaking of every day stuff I must run to the post office and a few other places today so I' off on an African Safari. If you can name that move I'll not be surprised! It's a chik flick! Later Blessings A
AAAAhaa Garage sale madness weekend is approaching!

Try again....????

Ok so for weeks I've tried to post pictures without sucess... Let me try try try agin.....
Oh my dear Blogger is a changing! In fact they have changed so much that I really am just barely grasping the changes. Blogger guru am not of the longer. Well life updates life has been busy of the late. I haven't been posting because I have no scrap booking things to post . You see I've not been scrap booking of late. Mom and Dad were here for two weeks so I took care of them. Difficult doesn't begin to describe the journey nore does sad. Then I spent last week in Louisville with Bo. She had to have emergency surgery on her girl parts. What the doctor thought to be a mass turned out to be a small grapefruit sized fallopian tube. It was much more involved that was first thought so I'm so glad I was able to be with her and her Mom. This week marks Holy week and I wish you Easter Blessings! I'm off for a normal week I hope and soon my dears scrap booking will return to its regular scheduled program. I love you all can't wait till we get to scrap! A.
Oh and how could I have forgot? Happy St.Patricks Day!

Heloooooooooo Yes yes I know I've turned this into a ghost blog of sorts. In mt scrap booking life I have not much going on a few pages but they really aren't up to par. As well as posting pictures is an issue because blogger doesn't want high megapixel photos. On top of that I lost my low megapixel camer for a time because the charge cord was " misplaced", and you have ghost blogging. Personal life. Well it's an adventure right now. Mom and Dad are here for a visit and it's keeping about 18 hours a day booked up. We also have been thinking of moving for several complex reasons. I'm finding nothing so don't get excited. Well it's way past bedtime see you soon!

earring retrieve

How to retrieve an earring from the drain........
first you must receive a very nice earring for your anniversary gift
then you must wear them
so that when you take them off over the sink one of them can bounce off of your boob and into the drain
then you must gasp
then your husband must say whats wrong
then your husband must say "i know you didn't drop that new earring down the drain"
then you must cry
then words must be said that we wont repeat from both husband and wife
husband will demand you not to touch earring that is hanging for life on the end of plunger that has a very small lip to hold said earring
you can see it with the l e d flash light
your scrapbboking grabbie thingie would grab it
you don't try because you don't want to make husband more mad if it were to fall into the p-trap
then husband might try to retrieve earring and you might hear it plop down into the p-trap
then you might be "directed" to clean out from under the sink
*note* you cant help …

So I've been trying to post but blogger hasn't been
very cooperative.... for the past two days.

So the cyst didn't get removed I'm sad to say, unfortunately I'll not be attending lot of those fun February play dates because of it. On the 26 i have it removed.
I was thinking I'd be fine a week later but the nurse has said otherwise telling me it will be more like a month.
yeah I'm so excited about that.

So here is some fun to detour our thoughts from that....

Snuffaluffagus is my name
blowing snot is my game

Happily let me say that again very happily my cold is leaving.

Friday I'm having a cyst removed from my back. So if you have extra prayers, pray I wont be all nervous in outpatient.

I'll be back to posting hopefully next week!

The Grind 2012

1. Drink more water
2. Gain no weight from what I weigh today
3. Eat more healthy
4. Scrapbook more
5. Love more
6. Let my friends know they are loved more
7. Send out my Christmas cards that never made it out.
8. Ohhhh and as with every year that passes
Waste less paper both scrap and everyday world.

Number eight has been ongoing for several years and some years are better than others but I've really really changed over a period of time with that one and probably the only resolution EVER for hubby to participate in as well.

Pictures and cards soon!

Blessings in this new year to you and your family!
