Every fall or I should say at the end of every summer you spot trees or bushes with red tips. The red signifies the end of one season, the beginning of another. Fall is usually welcome it's hopefully that cooling off period. Crisp morning air, shorter days, harvest moons. Some things stay with you forever like the beauty of nature. Even though we live smack dab in a concrete jungle of six plus million people I still get to see signs of fall. I whole heartily miss the green fields that fade to wheat brown and then turns burnt red when the farmers plows over the ground.
Every season is an adjustment and this season is no different. I'm hoping soon I'll be able to shake off this three week fight with asthma and allergies so I can go exploring and find fall in the city. No cards to share till I'm back on my feet I'm very sad to say. The past three days have been the best of the three weeks so I'm hoping and praying that I continue the up swing. It's driving me …
So Asthma is kicking my rear end. I'm doing the "roids" dude. I was able to have a shot instead of the pills this round so that's a good thing. The gaining weight thing not so much fun but its better than an alternative. How does that song go "That's life" and to quote and ancient bluegrass song (yes shocking) " Keep On the sunny Side (of life) " I shall carry on.
Ahh ragweed take a hike will ya? Dust mites you too, out the door with you!
I hope all is well
I'm asking that you keep Betty and her Mom and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Me to.
Love you all miss you all!
I'm planning on being at home for Christmas or just after if the house doesn't sell. I'm assuming its not going anywhere before Christmas at this point. Id like to have a scrappy meet sometime between December 20th and Jan 20th if possible. Maybe two just so everyone gets a chance to visit, have fun and food.
Another Summer ends this weekend. In the back of my mind I'm thinking last weekend to wear white, it's almost time for apple picking, pumpkin picking, snezzy hay rides and bee's. Bee's always seem to be around the apple cider. But not this year. Out here in north Texas as they call it we are gering up for the warmest days of the Sumer, that's right fall is not in sight, more around Thanksgiving. The weatherman said its our twenty first day of triple diget's. Fun, fun, fun.
I hope you have as safe and cool Labor Day weekend.
Thought I'd share what's on my desk, the usual mess!
Two weeks ago I prepared this post. I'm looking at the calender and thinking what happened to August? Maybe this will help since the days are getting shorter and hopeful your mornings are getting cooler. Mine probably aren't yet but soon, soon the triple digits will retire for the winter.
Early mornings are early
4:45 I'm up
If all goes well I'm on the road by 5:30
All I can say is its like driving with spider monkeys
Not to many people like spiders but when you combine them with monkeys all bets are off.
Its a new breed of crazy on the roads out here.
Its been to long, way to long since I v'e been on the blog.
How about this, yesterday I went outside set up a table and shot pictures of a bunch of cards. Am I making you smile yet? How about if I add that I could smell dog poo? Or it was 95+ outside ? It was over an hours worth of (fun) work?
Ah well Clipie man's 53rd birthday has come and gone, like wise with summer. Summer is darn near perpetual out here in Texas. Its hot too, but the pay off comes in winter. No Snow, let me say that again, No. Snow. At least the leaves fall off the trees for a couple months, and I do actually need a light weight coat. That's enough winter for anyone right?
Our lovely home is still on the market. We have had well over 120 visitors all have liked the house but three couples. It is odd to have such positive feed back and still no takers. Three or four have came back for a second look but no cigar. One lease offer that unfortunately was about 400 bucks shy( a month) of this si…
OK so its harsh to yell the word "cupcake" but if you know me well you know I'm a lover of many things. One of those things is Janet Evanovich's Plum series. In the series most want her to pick one of the hunky men she is around. Joe he calls her a "cupcake" I'm for the " other" guy his name is Ranger, and he calls her Babe. I'm a babe. However real cupcakes are up for grabs so eat one for me and as the stamp said "Ignore The Effects On Your Hips"!

Again I leave the blog unattended for far to long. So here's what's been going on in my world.
Half of January was spend with my Mom and Dad. We finally made to B.G. mid month. The following weeks were swallowed up by the worlds shortest successful garage sale, clean on a level where I wore a make because of my sneezing tendencies and absolutely not one night of leisure until January 29. That night evening was spent on couch with pillows and sleep.
February started a little more normal then we headed back to B.G. To put the house for sale, we listed it and blazed a trail to Texas. After that time I have spent all my time battling my health. Staying well has become a challenge. Yesterday was a tough day in that area and truthfully it's down right scary. I would appreciate any prayers! Soon as I'm on the mend I'll get back to posting!
The Sea is my favorite place to be. I'm drawn to it, like a black hole. Sorry way to much Stargate with hubby lately. I could watch the tide roll in for hours, walk the shore several times a day, sift my toes in the sand for hours Mostly because I never see a wave pattern and love the crash sound the water and the sand make. Many years ago hubby and I spent almost a week sea side and it was unforgettable in every way. Thank you Natt King Cole for that phrase.
So now that's its cold outside and I long to be in an octopus's garden I present you with some sun and fun.
