OK so the holiday is over and so is the travel so everything would be ducky if I could twitch and twinkle my nose like Samantha on Bewitched. I'm up to my ears in stuff. Later girls. Betty & Terri I had a great time Thursday night we checked out about 3:15 or so I hope y'all grabbed up some deals.

Happy Thanksgiving! So about two weeks ago "we" (better known as "I" because he hid and mysteriously had something to do when I was scraping out the guts, conveniently) carved our first pumpkin in the life of our marriage. yeah we never had done that. Being the crafty girl I am I also baked the seeds Umm ...... yeah so even the ducks would not eat my burnt pumpkin seeds In the end the pumpkin was great, I actually made the font on the cricut from pumpkin carvings and the words are from street sign. When you sit the pumpkin next to a wall it reflects the words "Give Thanks". I'm VERY THANKFUL for ALL of you who take time to read the blog. I'm grateful for all of you who stop by and say "Hi" being so far from home it makes it less lonely in this big strange city. It also reaffirms how much I enjoy my friendship with y'all. Albuquerque is a turkey And he's feathered and he's fine And he wobbles and he gobbles and he's absolutely mine. He's the best pet that you can get.. Better than a dog or cat. He's my Albuquerque turkey And I'm awfully proud of that. He once told me, very frankly He preferred to be my pet, Not the main course at my dinner, And I told him not to fret. I call this fall decor : ) So even if its way to cold for a bee to be alive I'm buzzing around here like a busy one. Hey its early it was the best i could come up with OK? So this is the week of Thankfulness and in the end it begins a season of joy and bills and I don't have time for anything. Just like most I'm joining with the crowd shopping, travel, ect . I'm still surprised that the Christmas lights I wanted at Wal Mart are sold out despite the fact that its not even the month of December. Its a repeat of last year yes we have lights for the tree it's just not the lights of our choice. Really that many people bought lights already? I guess next year I'll put the tree up at Halloween . : ) NOT! Later A

Hey! I have news! No not yet. However we will are going to be home for a month at Christmas!Thank you goes to the new electric car the plant is installing, they need some down time for the installation. We are trying to decide on a Christmas card picture and these are a few funny moments we had. Mostly due to the fact that I was putting my ice cold hands in places where they don't belong. I think Katie {click on the word Katie for yesterdays snow} is able to explain why your friend didn't see the snow. Its unfortunate she missed it, it was beautiful however very unwanted. Yesterday was a wonderful day, We finally were able to get a covered parking area! ( that's why no pictures we had paperwork to sign) So when it's 32 and wet (like this morning) he wont need to chip away at the ice and snow. We also will get a break when it hails so its a wonderful thing with wonderful timing . I'm still working on ornaments , I'm loving it its a nice change. Have a Happy Day! Angie

I was attempting to clean out some of my sb stuff and in the midst I found a "helper". She was good at her job she shed all kinds of hair just where I didn't want it. She is much more patient than I am she decide to claim this as her "new" home. Persistence is good when it comes to cleaning right? But purring when the cleaning lady picked her up warmed her heart so back in her new home she went and Pumpkin went "back to work". I hope y'all had a great weekend! The "snowflake is a combination of punches. Whale of a punch circle with the EK corner punch. This is a French Manor cut out with the cross from the Easter cart. My ribbon was a dollar store find. The paper is from the very first cricut pre cut stack. Yeah its about four years old, I'm so glad I've learned not to get rid of old paper. These are covered craft ornaments form HL. Each one costs a buck to buck fifty ish, if you pick it up on sale its about sixty cents. When I started making multiples it was easy to use lots of bling driving up the cost but if your a sale girl you can make a nice gift for around two dollars. I'm making several for gifts, I'm also making some extra it seems as though I always forget someone. I hope y'all have had and are having a great weekend. Blessings A

So I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm going to make a scarf, see some sights and eat out. Since we have been eating at the apartment more because the weather is getting colder and I might as well get used to staying in and and its cheaper. The card is a sympathy card for my Uncle, my cousin passed away two weeks ago. I didn't know her well but my Mother and Sister did. They will miss Karen Lynn a great deal. Make it a good one! A

So my Mo best friend requested the monster card for her sons twenty first birthday. This is what I came up with.

So a bowl broke in the microwave tonight. Very strange. Here is hubby applying organic fertilizer or grass seed to our yard. It was very organic and smelly especially when it had dew on it, then with the mild heat of the day we had some pretty special stuff. I felt really bad one of my next door neighbors was cleaning out the flower bed that day. OOPS. I'm rockin my Halloween hat.
