surprise surprise surprise (as Gomer would say)


I'll update for a second time in months.

So yesterday I
made brownies for a very sweet maintenance man who dug my keys out of the trash bin last Friday. I was throwing away the trash when they caught on the bag and went flying down into the compactor/bin thing. we all really know they were trying to escape the drive right?

My mom had a really rough day Sunday her best friends son passed on, another longtime friend at church a lady who I have never not known and her Nephew also passed away. So soon in the near future I'll make a few cards for her to send out. I cant remember who said it but one of you were saying last crop you make your sympathy cards before hand. I'm going to start doing that very soon. It was a great suggestion.

Love your pages. So sorry about all the sad news, but it is good t hear from you. Yes, I do make sympathy cards ahead, I hate to say it but it seems like i need them often, and always when time is short.

Of course you will not know this song however i must express myself I want to live in Bexley So I can drive a big car I want to live in Bexley So I can act like a big star At least that's the way I remember the parody song in my head. This lovely song was composed by two male disk jockeys who hosted the pop music station in my home town. At the time Bexley was "the" place to live. So those who cant afford to live there naturally make fun of the people who do (do men really change as they grow older?) Today I was thinking about that song clipie and I went to Springhill Tn, drove through Franklin Tn, then we came to two little towns called Brentwood and Oak Hill. I must say I have seen some huge homes in my time I've been to parade homes worth millions and had more than 10,000 sq feet so yes I've seen big. I have a few great announcements our niece Raven (Rod's side of the family the one who got married in July) Is going to make us a Great Aunt and Uncle (again, his niece Tiffany has had two children already but I'm happy to play the part again) And it looks like Rod job is very stable for the next 8 years I have been sweating that one out for a while, his union contracts are not settled (yet) I'm thinking after yesterdays announcement we should be fine.
