In a fall state of mind

After my trip back home It's put me in a fall mood. Leaves are starting to change, well whats left of the leaves after IKE and drought. I'm pretty sure Mom had a very dry summer and usually that amounts up to a wet winter. This cool air the past few days is not only greatly appreciated but I makes me long for that cool air of fall. i do belive this is the most fall like it's ever been since I've lived here. It makes me want to have a home in the country so I could sit and watch the color on the trees change. Oh hum I guess I'll settle for my fire bush changing and a walk in the park, actually the walk is better than sitting on my rear all the time. It seems quiet of late but I'm going to chalk it up to some form of loneliness, it's been for ever since I've cropped with y'all. I called Betty and I thought the crop was this weekend but it's next and next week. Rod will be laid off (for one week only) next week and we were going to visit his Dad who is having a full knee replacement. Surgery is always risky, but with diabetes and a few other factors he has a bit higher risks so we wanted to there. Another big reason is Joe's a big guy and I know it would be hard for my mil to handle him the first couple of days. Rod is also the strong, tall and young one with time off. His younger sister will help but she also needs to work. ho hum, fiddle dee dee I'm not happy, I want to get scrappy.OK I know that enough rhyming for one morning.

I love the fall and the cooler weather, too. I won't be at Betty's either on the 11th, I'll be on my way back home, staying in Grove City that night. I will make the crop the next weekend, though! Hoping to get lots of great fall pictures in NY. I am hoping to arrive early enough Sunday afternoon to go to my town's Applefest which is a big fall festival, and then I took vacation on Monday to hopefully take pictures too. Rochester has been very cold and rainy, will only be high in the 50's next week, but if it doesn't rain I'll be good to go.

Where Do I begin again? I. Have. No. Ideal. I'm going to hit the ground running here and just say the past few years has held a great amount of change for my husband and I. We have lived new places made new friends and started over again. We are movers and shakers I guess. Not really just doing what we can to make life feel comfortable as possible. so lets get off and running, I haven't had a scrap space for almost a year, its been well over a year since I've used a cricut but not the gypsy. The cards most fast and quick and not picture worthy. As some things stay the same I'm still into clean lines its still a timeless favorite. So much of what you will see is rockin it old school or cute and quick and a few Pintrest inspirations. I'm a girl on the run so more quick than anything. For the first time in three years I plan not to travel for a few months and that makes crafting, blogging, and everything else less complicated and room for relaxation and fun. Enjoy the…

Ahh so I know no updates of late. A most lazy poster am I. I ve been not liking the current upload system for my pictures so that why I don't post often. Life is ok. We are still in Fort Worth. Traffic boggles my imagination daily I spend about an hour on the road everyday and its only 6 miles to hubby's work and back. Bright lights, big city, crappy traffic.

Do we like it? It's not the worst place we have lived. You'll find original Texans are friendly, problem is not many are around. Of course the possibility could be maybe I'm not that likable. I doubt I'll ever be able to answer that.

We have never bought a house for many reasons the main being ours in B.G. never sold. It sits after price reductions and after every real estate analysis you could think of. 30k plus under market value and yes I've had a recent estimate. The other is taxes. Taxes are about 6000 on a .25 acre lot here . so even if you buy a little house you have a horrid bill. In Arlington …

I want to live in Bexley

Of course you will not know this song however i must express myself

I want to live in Bexley
So I can drive a big car
I want to live in Bexley
So I can act like a big star

At least that's the way I remember the parody song in my head. This lovely song was composed by two male disk jockeys who hosted the pop music station in my home town. At the time Bexley was "the" place to live. So those who cant afford to live there naturally make fun of the people who do (do men really change as they grow older?) Today I was thinking about that song clipie and I went to Springhill Tn, drove through Franklin Tn, then we came to two little towns called Brentwood and Oak Hill. I must say I have seen some huge homes in my time I've been to parade homes worth millions and had more than 10,000 sq feet so yes I've seen big. However I have never seen a community of homes so big I would not be able to gander upon how big they were. Let my try to compare most of them, they made our old tow…
