I should be at ww weighing in
I should be having the chicken Mandarin salad after that class
And I should be going to my knitting class after that
but I'm not
I think it was all the greasy food I ate yesterday
I don't know but today is going to be a couch day!

A couch day? How could you? It's nearly 75 degrees and sunny. I would kill to spend some time outside today. I have my window open so I can enjoy the fresh air while I work at least.

Must be nice to have a couch day. I have so much to do. I have my presents bought and wrapped but still have to make 50 ornaments for my staff. Oh well, I will get them done in time for our work party on the 20th. I have also made "special" tags for my parents presents. They are adorable. djw

Deb still has to make her staff ornaments, yikes! I am done shopping, nothing is wrapped though. Was counting on Jackie to help, but she is having man problems and is just moping around the house. I could choke her. So much to do. Mom and Dad arrive Tuesday. I have to work Sunday and Monday and the house is a mess. I hope I can do it all on Saturday, wish me luck!

Hey, my ornaments are turning out to be quick, easy and cute. How 'bout that? Will be done this weekend. Debbie H--sounds like you are in for LONG days and nights!!! I wish you the best. Call if you need help instead of choking Jackie (haha). djw

Deb, glad the ornaments are going well. I spent 2 hours so far just wrapping and packaging 4 gifts I have to mail out of town. I print postage on the computer so at least I don't have to deal with the lines at the post office. Tomorrow night getting my hair cut. Wish me luck getting all my holiday chores done before Tuesday! PS: Good news, I did get Christmas Eve off thanks to a kind coworker, so I do feel blessed!

Where Do I begin again? I. Have. No. Ideal. I'm going to hit the ground running here and just say the past few years has held a great amount of change for my husband and I. We have lived new places made new friends and started over again. We are movers and shakers I guess. Not really just doing what we can to make life feel comfortable as possible. so lets get off and running, I haven't had a scrap space for almost a year, its been well over a year since I've used a cricut but not the gypsy. The cards most fast and quick and not picture worthy. As some things stay the same I'm still into clean lines its still a timeless favorite. So much of what you will see is rockin it old school or cute and quick and a few Pintrest inspirations. I'm a girl on the run so more quick than anything. For the first time in three years I plan not to travel for a few months and that makes crafting, blogging, and everything else less complicated and room for relaxation and fun. Enjoy the…

Ahh so I know no updates of late. A most lazy poster am I. I ve been not liking the current upload system for my pictures so that why I don't post often. Life is ok. We are still in Fort Worth. Traffic boggles my imagination daily I spend about an hour on the road everyday and its only 6 miles to hubby's work and back. Bright lights, big city, crappy traffic.

Do we like it? It's not the worst place we have lived. You'll find original Texans are friendly, problem is not many are around. Of course the possibility could be maybe I'm not that likable. I doubt I'll ever be able to answer that.

We have never bought a house for many reasons the main being ours in B.G. never sold. It sits after price reductions and after every real estate analysis you could think of. 30k plus under market value and yes I've had a recent estimate. The other is taxes. Taxes are about 6000 on a .25 acre lot here . so even if you buy a little house you have a horrid bill. In Arlington …

I want to live in Bexley

Of course you will not know this song however i must express myself

I want to live in Bexley
So I can drive a big car
I want to live in Bexley
So I can act like a big star

At least that's the way I remember the parody song in my head. This lovely song was composed by two male disk jockeys who hosted the pop music station in my home town. At the time Bexley was "the" place to live. So those who cant afford to live there naturally make fun of the people who do (do men really change as they grow older?) Today I was thinking about that song clipie and I went to Springhill Tn, drove through Franklin Tn, then we came to two little towns called Brentwood and Oak Hill. I must say I have seen some huge homes in my time I've been to parade homes worth millions and had more than 10,000 sq feet so yes I've seen big. However I have never seen a community of homes so big I would not be able to gander upon how big they were. Let my try to compare most of them, they made our old tow…
