it's the little things

things making me happy this morning
sweet tea
4 twizzlers
Oh man this was so not the weekend I wanted it to be. That man I'm marred to well lets just put it real nicely I'm looking for a two story dog house anybody sellin? Cause I'll pay you a whole lot if i could borrow it for like the next year or so. Arf arf bwwwwww ohwrlll is the call of the husband this morning.

Moving on I finally found these $2. tape runners (at Big Lots)b keeps talking about. Oddly enough dog boy found them for me. (yes it was that bad) Moving on again they also had a Christmas 8x8 album and a Recipe 8x8 album for $5, however no refills and it was an off brand (I think) so it may be hard to get pages to fit.

Dog boy goes on a 16 day vacation starting Saturday so be warned this will be my last week of regular scrap happy blogging. I just hate starting out vacation weeks all pissed off this way can you tell I'm one pissed chick? Does it show much? As to our plans officially as of now at some point of course we will go up north. As for actual VACATION who knows if I'll get one. You would think that out of the 16 days he should want to spend at lest 3 alone with me but that is my opinion. So that's it for now

Another thing would some one please adopt some animals they have had them on every day saying if we don't adopt them were gonna well you know, and I've had to turn the morning news off cause I just cant take it.

he thought he was being silly when the sang someing about me to the theme of the "love boat" which in turn earned me a spot in colorful word history 101. Then he thought it would be nice to make up with me and tell me i was his favorite wife, (I'm the only wife he has ever had) so yes he is up shit creek and I'm not even going to give him a tooth pick to paddle with.
ps I told him he had to pay me back in scrap supplies. I know I'm a smart girl

Glad you finally found those Fiskars adhesives...I saw those albums you mentioned - they have also been carried in HL - so they might have the refills....

Hope all is well today....I'll bet he is planning something to surprise you.....

All men are "weenies" when they are sick. This should not be a surprise. Hopefully he will be well in a few days and back to being Mr. I (hope so for your sake). Hope you have a nice vacation and do something fun. Maybe you all can paddle down S--- Creek with a toothpick together....How Romantic!!! (HAHA) See ya soon. djw

I like those tape runners, too. I bought 4 just to make sure. I don't know if I'll get back or not. I checked a BL in Louisville but they didn't have them. As for the albums, they are a common brand, I have the recipe one. You should be able to find refills, I used Colorbok refills that fit perfect.

so much

Where Do I begin again? I. Have. No. Ideal. I'm going to hit the ground running here and just say the past few years has held a great amount of change for my husband and I. We have lived new places made new friends and started over again. We are movers and shakers I guess. Not really just doing what we can to make life feel comfortable as possible. so lets get off and running, I haven't had a scrap space for almost a year, its been well over a year since I've used a cricut but not the gypsy. The cards most fast and quick and not picture worthy. As some things stay the same I'm still into clean lines its still a timeless favorite. So much of what you will see is rockin it old school or cute and quick and a few Pintrest inspirations. I'm a girl on the run so more quick than anything. For the first time in three years I plan not to travel for a few months and that makes crafting, blogging, and everything else less complicated and room for relaxation and fun. Enjoy the…

I want to live in Bexley

Of course you will not know this song however i must express myself

I want to live in Bexley
So I can drive a big car
I want to live in Bexley
So I can act like a big star

At least that's the way I remember the parody song in my head. This lovely song was composed by two male disk jockeys who hosted the pop music station in my home town. At the time Bexley was "the" place to live. So those who cant afford to live there naturally make fun of the people who do (do men really change as they grow older?) Today I was thinking about that song clipie and I went to Springhill Tn, drove through Franklin Tn, then we came to two little towns called Brentwood and Oak Hill. I must say I have seen some huge homes in my time I've been to parade homes worth millions and had more than 10,000 sq feet so yes I've seen big. However I have never seen a community of homes so big I would not be able to gander upon how big they were. Let my try to compare most of them, they made our old tow…

Life

Ahh so I know no updates of late. A most lazy poster am I. I ve been not liking the current upload system for my pictures so that why I don't post often. Life is ok. We are still in Fort Worth. Traffic boggles my imagination daily I spend about an hour on the road everyday and its only 6 miles to hubby's work and back. Bright lights, big city, crappy traffic.

Do we like it? It's not the worst place we have lived. You'll find original Texans are friendly, problem is not many are around. Of course the possibility could be maybe I'm not that likable. I doubt I'll ever be able to answer that.

We have never bought a house for many reasons the main being ours in B.G. never sold. It sits after price reductions and after every real estate analysis you could think of. 30k plus under market value and yes I've had a recent estimate. The other is taxes. Taxes are about 6000 on a .25 acre lot here . so even if you buy a little house you have a horrid bill. In Arlington …
